How It Works

The Program in Detail

Three sessions, each with a defined purpose and a concrete output. Here is what happens in each one and what you leave with.

The Three Sessions

Each session builds on the previous one

The program follows a deliberate sequence. Understanding before goals. Goals before plan. Each step creates the foundation for the next.

01
Session One

Understanding Your Current Financial State

The first session is about getting an honest, complete picture of where you stand financially right now. Not where you think you stand. Where you actually stand.

We go through your income in detail, including net pay, any additional income sources, and anything irregular. Then we map your fixed monthly commitments: rent or mortgage, loan repayments, subscriptions, insurance. Finally we look at variable spending, which is usually where the surprises are.

Complete income mapping including irregular sources
Fixed cost inventory with nothing left out
Variable spending review and pattern identification
Existing financial commitments: loans, savings, obligations
A clear picture of what is actually left each month
02
Session Two

Setting Goals That Have Something to Do With Reality

The second session is about what you actually want. Not what you think you should want. Not what looks good from the outside. What matters to you, in your life, with your values and your timeline.

We work through your goals methodically. Travel, housing, loan repayment, building savings, career changes that might affect income. Each goal gets a rough time horizon and a rough monthly number attached to it. Then we look at whether those numbers fit within what session one revealed about your available resources.

Personal goal identification without external influence
Time horizon assignment for each goal
Reality-checking goals against available resources
Priority ranking when goals compete for the same money
03
Session Three

Building Your Monthly Allocation Plan

The third session takes everything from sessions one and two and turns it into a written, practical monthly allocation framework. This is the session where everything comes together into something you can actually use.

The plan divides your monthly income into categories with specific allocations. It is not a rigid budget in the traditional sense. It is a framework that tells you, at the start of each month, where your money is going and why. It is built to be simple enough to check in five minutes and flexible enough to adjust as your circumstances change.

Category-by-category breakdown with reasoning
Guidelines for adjusting the plan when income or expenses change
A simple monthly review checklist you can use independently

What You Leave With

A document. A framework. A way of thinking.

After the third session, you receive a written personal financial plan. It is yours. You do not need to come back to us to use it or update it. It is designed to be self-sufficient.

The document includes your income and expense summary from session one, your prioritized goals from session two, and the monthly allocation framework from session three. It also includes a brief explanation of the reasoning behind each allocation decision, so you understand why it is set up the way it is.

Beyond the document, you leave with a different way of thinking about money. The vocabulary, the categories, the habit of looking at your finances monthly. Those things stay with you regardless of whether circumstances change.

Practical Details

Format, location, and what to expect

Session Duration

Each session runs approximately 90 minutes. The first session sometimes runs a little longer as there is more ground to cover. We do not cut sessions short if the conversation is still productive.

Scheduling

Sessions are scheduled individually. The spacing between them is flexible and depends on your availability and how much time you want between sessions to gather information or reflect on what was discussed.

Location

Sessions can take place in person at our Zagreb office on Lička ul. 33 or online via video call. Both formats work equally well for the content of the program.

What to Bring

Nothing is required for the first session. For the second and third, having a rough sense of your monthly spending patterns is helpful. We provide a simple preparation guide before each session.

Begin Here

The first session starts with a conversation.

No preparation needed. No documents to bring. Just a willingness to look honestly at where you are and where you want to go.
